Since 2011, PLOY has been doing things our own way — rewriting the rulebook on what it means to serve Asian food. We’re not here to honour tradition for tradition’s sake. We’re here to honour cravings. Those late-night noodle memories, family recipes whispered across generations, and market finds that made us fall in love with food in the first place.

Our kitchen draws from the flavours we grew up with — Thai, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian — and flips them with flair. Some dishes are left iconic and untouched. Others are cheekily reimagined with bold sauces, unexpected twists, and an extra wink of mischief. We know when to play and when to leave a good thing alone.

At PLOY, categories don’t apply. We follow flavour, not form. It’s not fusion — it’s instinct. You might find a rice bowl that hits like a fever dream, a salad that slaps harder than your playlist, or a burnt cheesecake that accidentally stole the show.

The name “PLOY” comes from the Thai word for gem — a nod to those rare, glimmering finds that shine a little brighter. That’s what our food is all about: dishes that stand out, spark joy, and leave an impression long after the last bite.

We call ourselves an Asian bistro, but really, we’re a mood. A little wild, a little nostalgic, and entirely ours.
